Will you be using a tow dolly or a bumper mounted bar(to the toyota)? While the weight is close to the limit for unbraked towing and you might experiance some tail wagging in windy conditions and when semis pass you.

If the truck wheels are on the ground, is the drive axle removed so there is less strain on the V70 tranny?

Why not get a oneway ticket at Southwest and drive the toyota?
