Heater Core V70-XC70 2000

It's a DIY item. No shop should charge more than 1 hour of labor. The price for a new core ranges from $50-$400+, and a new core should come with 2 O rings.

Just clamp off the two hoses on the engine side of the firewall, or drain about 1 gallon of antifreeze into a bucket. Remove the two kick panels under the dash, pull off the black plastic side panels that hide the core. Remove a few torx screws, wiggle the core out, put in the new one. Done. Don't forget to have a plastic shopping bag to catch any antifreeze that spills out when the core is unplugged and removed.
