2004 v70 oem battery? V70-XC70

If your daughter does not live at home, I would suggest that you spend an hour's labor to have your dealer check the car out for their certified used car check. I have done this with several used cars, and it was well worth the money.

As was mentioned, the battery probably did not come with the car, and after 7 years, I would suspect that the current one might be tired. The original battery must have lasted 4 years or so.

If she will travel at all, a membership with AAA is a great idea.

BTW - on a long trip, do not leave your phone on chargre. My daughter's car died in Michigan and her phone died with it!

The AAA guy who picked her car up, had her call us from his garage, then took her to a hotel. Then, on a Sunday morning, his friend, who owned an auto electrical business, opened his shop, made a new set of brushes for her alternator (he had none to fit her 740), and had her on her way by noon!

It would be great for both of you if the car did not have any problems for some time.
