Well, you need to get the car up on a rack to check all the components of the P/S system. If it's the pump or high pressure hoses leaking it's not too expensive. If it's from the steering rack it is expensive. I just did the rack on my 1993 with 220k miles. It was leaking from the tie rod boots, front right, behind the wheel. Not a DIY job. The local mechanic did it for $950. (parts, labor and wheel alignment). When you top up the P/S pump be sure to use ATF (transmission fluid). It's worth it if you are going to keep the car. A new rack really improved steering and handling. If your mechanic participates in Costco's repair program they give a 15% discount. Mine did and that brought the bill down to $800 plus tax.
