"Is there be an O-ring that seals the compressor housing to the main body?" I don't understand the question.

I believe many folks refer to the compressor housing the "cold side" while the turbine housing is the "cold side". I dug into this and found there may be a large snap ring and O-ring?

Sorry about that I rebuilt Cummins turbos over 50 yrs. ago.

Appreciate your answers and advice!
