oil leak 850

Oil is leaking from the front right end of my 850. Anybody out there who might know where it's coming from?
thanks,
Chris

Could be from the dip stick O-Ring or the oil coler lines if it's a turbo. If it is you should check out the PCV system. Clean out the little vacuum line hole down near the turbo. If it's not you probably need to clean the flame trap. (still the PCV system) Clogged PCV results in blown out rear main seal.

Take off the splash pan under the front end to localize where the oil is coming from. There are two oil lines that attach to the radiator, one up and the other lower. The O rings may have failed.

Front right side doesn't tell us a whole lot. I guess you mean the passanger side. Can you look up and see oil between the motor and transmission? If so then it might be a Rear Main Seal (expensive). Also, it could be the turbo oil return line. If that's it, then a small "O" ring can be replaced with not much trouble (cheap). Look on top of the engine. Is there evidence of leaking out of the oil cap? If so, the cap seal is worn out and needs replacing (also cheap) and will cause oil that blows out toe leak over the back of the engine and down onto the ground. Lots of possibilities. If you can't visually tell where the oil is coming from, you'll need to clean up all wet oil and in the dry condition see where the wet begins after driving it a bit.
