Can You Program a keyless entry remote for volvo s80 S80

Is thier a way you can program the keyless entry remote without having to go to the dealer?

Dealer only AND........ S80

If they're used, say from Ebay and you don't have the paper with required programimg #s (some have 8, others have 8 plus another 16), the remotes CAN'T be programmed at any dealer. A dealers PC is required to program those (SW required) and w/o the #s, the remotes are completely useless and only worthy of being trashed. Seen this many times.
If bought used and w/o the #s, tell the seller to refund your money as you've been ripped off.

What year S80? I think it's a different different procedure depending, but still the answer is NO. I have a '98 S70 and this key had to be programmed by the dealer.
