Whatzit 850 1996



Had the battery tray out of a 96 850 yesterday to work on the infamous air pump. Attached to the bottom of the tray is a cylinder shaped device mounted at an angle with a vacuum line and electrical connection plug in. What the heck is it?

    It's the cruse control vacuum pump.

      Thanks Tom! Learn something new every day. WOnder why the heck they stuck it there? I guess the main job of the design engineer is to make life miserable for the service man.
