After removing my radio for repair, I seem to have an issue with finding the correct code to enter into the radio to comply with the anti-theft feature on the SC-810 model.
Any suggestions on how to get the code for my radio?
(BTW - I do not have the code card in my owner's manual for some reason)

    I believe that the dealer can also get it for you if you have the serial number. Went through that when I changed my wifes radio.

    Check for a sticker on the radio. It's a 4 digit number 1 through 6. The dealer can look it up through the VIN, but only if it is the original radio for that car.

    Nobody wrote it on the radio with a permanent marker? That's what I usually see. The Volvo dealer can get you the code. I've also seen software sold on Ebay that claims to have the codes for just about any OEM radio but I haven't tried it. Really I would think you'd want to upgrade to a SC816 CD/Stereo anyway. The SC816 is sold on Ebay for around $200 and slides right in.
