What's it mean? I don't have the codes for the climate control unit. Everything >seems< to be working fine.

I periodically have the same flashing indicators, which are supposed to tell you when there is a problem with the A/C. Like you, I have absolutely no problem with the system, and no error codes whatsoever.

Mine only seem to flash during, or immediately after, high humidity conditions.

If you have the ECC, you can check the return air temperature sensors under the plastic covers immediately under the grab handles over the front doors. Sometimes an accumulation of debris can cause what you are describing. But a note of caution... the sensors under the covers are fragile... be extremely careful about using anything hard if you find that they need cleaning... a puff of gentle air, or a small vacuum cleaner usually does the job.

Mine are clean, and the problem persists... I just ignore it, and in a day or so, it goes away.

15 flashes, your funny. Where are you getting these 15 flashes from? If you want fault codes you need to be accessing the B1 socket under the hood and read them off. They will come in a series of 3 set of flashes like 2-3-2. That would be 2 flashes, 3 flashes, and 2 flashes. If the lights on you a/c control unit are flashing they are doing so to notify you that there are fault codes stored in the control unit and you need to retrieve them.

No, I am serious. The 2 lights on the dash for the climate control system (the A/C "off" light, and the recirc light) both flash 15 times in unison upon starting my car.

Rule 308 is correct...doesn't matter if it's 15 or 50...the unison flashes mean that you need to pop your hood and read your codes from the little black box labeled "B." In case you don't know, here's the how to:

Locate the A and B black boxes next to the windshield washer fill tank.
With ignition off, take the top off of "B." Now take the metal lead and insert it into socket 1 of that box. Have a paper and pen ready. A 3 digit code will be dispalayed as a series of blinks of the red LED light there. With test lead inserted, turn the ignition to the ON position (not running the engine). Press the test button once on top of module A once for about a second and release it and wait for the LED to begin it's blinking. It will blink like this: 2 short blinks, a pause, 3 blinks, another pause and then another couple or 3 blinks. These are the 3 numbers you will write down...like 2-2-3, etc. Now press the button again and observe the blinks again...write them down. Do this until you get the first code again. Now turn the ignition off.

You can delete the codes once all of them are abtained if you want. To do this, put the lead back into Socket 1 of the B module, turn the igintion to On and press the test button and hold it for 5 seconds, release the button and after 3 seconds the LED will light up. IMMEDIATELY press and hold the test button down for 5 seconds. Your codes are reset. If you test for the code you should get 1-1-1. Sometimes this is enough to get your fan/blower going again...if this happens you can write off your whole experience to a fluke. Otherwise, your codes will come back and your fan/blower will exhibit the same condition as before.

After you get your codes, post them back here and we'll tell you what they mean. We could list them here, but my fingers are getting tired of typing and there are a whole bunch of them.
