Any problems with ceramic brake pads? Which brand is best?

what constitutes "works well"?

I have raybestos quiet stops...they work grear (no squeeling)and no dark dust on my wheels.

You do know that any ceramic or semi-metalic will not grab as well as Volvo OEM organic pads right? Doesn't mean you won't be able to stop, but you may be applying a hair more pressure to your brakes to stop in the same distance. The laws of physics and friction.
