Changer Problems 850 1997

I recently had my changer stop responding. The changer still works. So I took it to the dealer to figure out what happened and they told me i needed a new changer, so i bought a new changer fromt he dealer and then hooked up myself and it still does not work. I am pretty upset that i just spent $400 for a new changer, and it has still not solved my problem. So, now i am at a loss of where to go next, the only thing i can think is that i need a new Din cable, or basically a new head unit. Any suggestions would be greatly apprieciated.

The next place to go is back to the dealer and give him the changer back, in exchange for crediting your credit card. He will be happy to do that.
Then pull your radio out and check the cable connection in the back to make sure it is tight. You mentioned that the changer itself works, so the fuse is still OK. Make sure there are some CDs in the changer :)
