Hi all,
I am starting to look for a good used V70. In my limited searching so far, I discovered that the '01 and up seemed to have more leg room(I have a 36" inseam). Is there anything I need to watch on these cars? I have found an '01 certified used with 35k not too far from my home for $18k asking price. does this sound reasonable? Any input concerning my search would be appreciated.

    5 years old and $18K? Wow. When looking at dealers, check KBB.com under trade in category. That should be your starting point, because that is what they paid for it.
    Because it is "certified" doesn't mean that you are covered under complete warranty. Read the fine print that covers AC, power steering, and electrical problems.

      Looking at an '01? Beware of issues with the electronic throttle module in model year.

        True, but Volvo will replace these for free now either 10 years or 200K miles whichever comes first.
