A/C Blower Motor doesn't work please help.. 850

Thank you so much in advance... it is a long time since when I turn on the AC made some small noises but now only the high speed of the blower works and make noises. I am trying to get a new one but I am not sure if that is only the problem. I read sometimes we can fix those motors. Does anybody have any experience about that?

Thank you again

Amigo,
There is a rheostat next to the blower that will alow you to change to speed of the blower using the sliding switch on the dash. If the blower only blows on high, a fuse blew or the rheostat died.
If you order a new fan or rheostat, also get a filter with a mount adapter. The filter will keep dirt off the fan and help it last longer. Plus it will keep dirt out of the cabin.

High setting works but low doesnt? There are separate fuses or relays for different speeds of the fan. I would suspect one or more has gone out. The reason could be the fan sticking and thus pulling more amps than they can handle, so you still might be in for a new fan, but I would check the fuse/relay first. Someone with more experience with the fan and its related components will chime in, I'm sure. Also, a few days ago there was a post on the same or similar thing...check the titles of the posts down further than this one...you're bound to get more information that you can use. Good luck
