Heater control stuck. Figures it is 9 degrees out. 850

Hi, I have a 94 850 wagon. The flaps seem to be stuck in the A/C mode. I don't
have climate control. Yesterday it rained like hell, then went down to 9 degrees overnight. Could this have anything to do with the problem? Appreciate
your comments and suggestions.
Thanks
Burt

Even if water poured down the intake, the only thing that could be frozen is the recirculater flap above the fan. And that would have to be in the closed position anyway. Also, you would have a frozen carpet.
Sounds more like a linkage/vacuum problem.

defrost, only out of the center vents.
Thanks again.

your cables are not working if you cant get the side or defrost to work. there are 2 cables attached to that dial for floor/defrost if you dont have electronic cimate ecu. you will need to remove the facia and wiggle into the dashboard to fix it or just pay someone as it is complicated... i encountered these when removing the A/C evaporator COUPLe yrs back
