alright, this is a pretty simple question... 850 1995

so my driver's side windshield wiper wasn't going down all the way because there was snow/ice blocking its path. i moved it down forcefully and i know when you do that the nut gets loose, i just forgot. so obviously now it's not moving. all i want to know is what size wrench should i get? it's freezing ass cold outside and i don't feel like fumbling around with every wrench i own trying to figure it out. this is my first winter with an 850, it happens to me every winter with my 240s. thanks for helping out a lazy bum.

That's because I went out to the garage in my stocking feet (38F, brrr), picked up 3 wrenches, popped the hood and tried all three!
You are right about the bad clothing.

Come On Now.............Take three or four wrenches all at the same time. They're not that heavy.

you'd be surprised how heavy it is to a man as lazy as myself.

Put some gloves on and tighten both sides with a 13mm. A monkey wrench will round the nut.

use a cresant wrench then you'll know. It's either a 10 or a 12mm

Hi,
Klaus is right; 13mm.
There should be a little tool kit that came with your car with a few wrenches, etc to repair little stuff like this problem. Our car(95 855) had one but maybe yours is long lost.
