Fuel pump relay 850 1997

97 855T5 - all stock.

Car suddenly developed a crank/no start condition.
I have spark at the cap.
No fuel pressure at the schraeder valve on the fuel rail.
No fuel pressure at the feed line on the fuel rail.
12V+ on both sides of #2 fuse (fuel pump)
No power to fuel pump (pink/black wires)

Where is the fuel pump relay, assuming there is one? Any other likely causes of failure?

A bad MAF sensor can affect the fuel pump relay not to function. Do a back probe to see if you are getting the right electrical values out of the MAF sensor. A Haynes manual will indicate what voltage you should be getting.

I had a similar problem with my S70 where I blamed the fuel pump relay and fuel pump not functing only to find out it was the MAF that was bad. I ended up with a perfectly functing extra fuel pump and relay.

I know that everyone wants to electronically check out the MAF...read this on other boards too, but it's really simpler than that. Unplug the MAF and if it starts and idles and then when you plug it back in (while idling) and the car dies, it's the MAF...easy test.

The FPR is under the fuses in the engine bay, #103. Check for cracked solder.
