1998 V70 vacuum hoses V70-XC70 1998

I have a 1998 V70 non turbo.
The car was running poorly. While I was checking it I found a vaccum leak at the flame trap housing on the throttle body. The large hose was fine but the small nipple on the flame trap housing had a rotted remainence of a vacuum hose. My question is if this small nipple had a hose on it (which I can't find ) or was it just a vacuum plug.

Thanks

Yes, I think the nipple connects to the hard plastic hose that runs under the manifold. They connect with a small elbow shaped rubber connector which rots. You can substitute a piece of hose to connect the two or order the elbows through IPD. I think the hard plastic hose has the rubber elbow on both ends - one at the flame trap and one connecting to a metal tube at the other end of the engine under the manifold.
