climate control panel S80 1999

HEy, I have a 1999 volvo s80, and I was removing the radio from the dash to get it repaired, while doing that I had to remove the climate control panel. After removing it, I unplug the wires to completely get it out of the way to remove the radio. After I plug the wires in again and place the panel back, the panel would not work. I press the buttons and nothing happens. I tried looking at the fuse and reconnecting the wires in the back but nothing works. Can you help me please?

Did you disconnect the battery at least 10 minutes before disconnecting anything?
You might try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 20 minutes, then replacing it. That sometimes forces a reboot of the multiplex system.

If you disconnected the climate control with the battery still connected, at best you will probably have a SRS failure warning light/message that will have to be reset by the dealer.

I have read numerous messages that warn against disconnecting the climate control, if at all avoidable, when servicing the radio.
