Just purchased a used '01 XC. Old owner provided some documentation but no radio code. I assume like with my old 850, after a loss of power (i.e. battery change) that I will not be able to operate the radio.

Any ideas on how to get the code ? I do not know previous oweners.

Do you have any of the old dealer invoices for service work from previous owner? In the glove box? The dealer puts the radio code on the invoice for the Tech. ??????????????????

newer volvos don't have radio codes
what model of radio/cd do you have hu-????

hu-#### = model no. of your radio/cd unit.....its should show on front of the unit
