Volvo Tool V70-XC70 2002

Hi to all
I'm a new member from across the lake (big lake).
I will jump straight in and ask for your help,
I'm looking for a Volvo tool by the name of:

"Vibration Damper Counterhold Tool", Volvo Part No: 999 5433.

Please can anyone help me find one. Your help would really be appreciated.
Regards,
Agostino

On this side of the Atlantic, we call it the Pond.
If you are replacing the dampner at the top of the engine, buy a neoprine or plastic dampner because it will last much longer and no special tools are required.

Call fcpgroton at 877 634-0063 and see if they have it. If it's an OEM Volvo part, they usually do and they're cheaper than the dealer.

I RECENTLY CHANGED MY TIMING BELT. I USED A CHAIN WRENCH TO HOLD THE DAMPNER. I WORKED WELL. GOOD LUCK!!

Just be careful with that one... I used it too and chipped crank pulley. No big deal. After replacing belt 3 times due to wear ( by the chip) all got quiet. Belts polished edges of the chipp and its ok. But that was on the 765.

A large strap wrench would be better. Now that I think about it...

            Good Luck
