Water Pump Replacement 1999 V70 GLT V70-XC70 1999

Has anyone replaced a waterpump in a 1999 V or S 70? They Hanes manual says it's in an inaccessible location. I'm not sure I have the motivation to try this one. Would like comments from folks who have given this a try.

If you can do the timing belt you can do the pump too. What is the reason for replacing the pump?

How many miles on your car? If near 100K miles you might as well do the Timing Belt too as you have to get in there anyway. Probably what they meant by "inaccessible location," as the belt has to come off for the water pump change. It's not hard once you're in there and the belt is off. And then there's the question about whether you should change the tensioner and pulley while you're doing the belt anyway. All depends on your miles...
