HI,
Just had my turbo replaced at a indy shop in MD.. He quoted me a price of 1400 for the whole deal..does that sound about right? New turbo from volvo...

That is a good price in your neck of the woods. Now that you have a new turbo, do a few good things to it: Use 5W40 synthetic oil with changes every 5K miles, never "use" the turbo until the temp gauge on the dash has warmed up, and never turn the car off immediately after a good boost.

Thank you for the help...not really sure why it went out..but it has been slowly going for awhile and finally gave up the ghost. (was smoking pretty good)..
