Throttle Body Refund Question V70-XC70

I apologize for not being up to speed on this issue. I am reading about refunds regarding replacement of the throttle body. I have a 1999 V70 and the TB was replaced in Aug 2004. Volvo did it and never mentioned a refund. Was I eligible? The car was delivered in Feb. 1999. I am the second owner.

I also own a 1991 240 wagon. The V70 is not my favorite car. Other issues have been replacement of the heater core. Check engine light stays off and on continually no matter what. ABS light has been on for months. I can't afford to have Volvo fix it and can't hang a picture myself.

Is this car the lemon that it appears to be or am I just unlucky?

Thank you.

I use UTC at home. All my clocks are set to UTC. I used to live in Greenwich.

Throttle Body Refund Question V70-XC70

A slow growing smile as I read your post.
Contact Volvo USA and ask for a refund form, but only if you have a receipt for the work done on your TCM.
The ABS module can be fixed by Victor for about $140, just do a search on ABS and you will find his name everywhere.
Go to an Autozone or Pepboys and get your trouble codes read for free, and deleted.
The heater core in the V70 is replaced easier than in the 240, but then the V70 has the opposite problem with the evaporator core!
Keep your 245!
