Looking at '05 s60 S60

After years of RWD Volvos it is time to move up to a new car as we will be travelling alot this year. Our local dealer has a car with 10000 miles on it. It is a rental return with Volvo certification at a great price reduction from new. Is there anything to watch especially with these cars, I still remember all the problems with the V40's. Thanks for any help you can give me.

S60 is a very solid car except for maybe a rental return. When new they sold at a great price reduction from new.

They still DO!

Carsdirect.com shows a price of $6000 off sticker for a NEW '06 S60 in my zip code. (And the only DNA in the thing is the cow's, not a bazillion renters.)

Unless the '05 were practically free, I'd go for the new one.

Or go for a new Honda Accord and sell the metric tools at a garage sale.

Just drive it!!! It has a new car warranty. Clean your tools and put them away for a couple of years. Have a few beers under the shade tree and watch the rest of us poor guys suffer :)
