Just did evaporator on 96 850. Looking at ac piping have one damaged spring on spring loaded quick disconnect fixture. Dealer says they don't sell spring separatly anyone know where to get one?

Another great source for ac parts and hose rebuilding is "centuryautoac.com" in Phoenix.

I bought a kit containing various o-rings and springs in a NAPA autoparts store. It was marketed as applicable to Ford air conditioning systems which use a very similar connector. It was about $9 and had about 60 different items in it. I think it had the NAPA logo on it.

None of the o-rings was an exact match for the system on my 850 so I went to the dealer for those, but I would be confident the springs would be close enough to work.

thanks for your help I found them on a web site http://www.coolpro.net/shop/index.php They also have many of the volov O rings for about 1/20th cost of dealer stock. I bought 20 o rings for the cost of one from the dealer.
