Low pressure vs. High pressure turbo

I have an S60 2.4T engine (not sure what the actual engine model is). Would that be low or high pressure turbo? What't the difference?

Low pressure vs. High pressure turbo

The difference is the 2.3T has a lot more horsepower than the 2.4T. But the torque becomes available earlier in the 2.4T, so you can go from 0-60 a little faster? Both of mine have the 2.3T, and at about 3,500rpm you are thankful for headrests :)

Low pressure vs. High pressure turbo

The T5s (the high-pressure turbo) have a reinforced engine block, forged - instead of cast - crankshafts and sodium-filled exhaust valves. It's a MUCH more robust motor than the LPT or the NA, and also (theoretically) likely to last longer unless its days are spent flat-out on the Autobahn. If your trunklid says "T5" it's probably a high pressure turbo.

In the '99 V70 the 2.4L is the low pressure, and the 2.3L is the high pressure. High pressures need beefier pistons, rods, bearings, etc.

I am not sure of the exact differences.
