How to remove the back of the timing belt cover V70-XC70 1998

Greetings forum,
I am hoping to get better access to the water pump area so that I can do a more thorough job of cleaning off the old WP gasket. I attempted to remove the back timing belt cover (I am not talking about the front cover or top cover) without much success. I removed two 10mm bolts, and couldn't find anything else to remove, but the cover was still held in place.

Anyone know if this is possible without removing the cam gears? (no way I'm doing that). Do all the pulleys have to be removed first?

Also is there a way to raise the engine to get better access?

All knowlegeable responses appreciated.
thanks,
-Greg

to answer my own question, remove the timing belt idler pulley (two bolts 10mm I think), and remove the timing belt tensioner pulley. The tensioner pullery requires a torx T-45 adapter.

Once these two pulleys are removed the back of the timing belt cover can be partially moved. However I could not get it completely out of the engine compartment.
