850 AC problems,Hey Klaus 850

Changed out by evaporator, sealed up with new dryer and expansion tube. Held 27cm vacuum for >24 hours. Added one can freon Pressure measured on low side = 70 cm, rest of can would not fill into system. Could not get compressor to turn on. What the ??? Any thoughts

    sounds like your pressostat(low pressure switch) has failed.
    Connect a loop of wire to the connector to the pressostat. That should start the compressor. Recharge the system fully. Plug the connector to the pressostat again. If it won't start the compressor, then the switch is bad.
