1993 850 normally aspirated 180K miles B5254S engine



Engine quits (stalls). My engine will stall two or three times a week. It happens when the engine is warm and at speed. It almost always starts again without hesitation following the stall (once it took several start attempts to run).

I have been looking at the 314 ignition fault code for camshaft position sensor signal absent. I cleared the ignition fault code to a 111. It is still 111 but the problem presists. I have changed the fuel filter and cleaned and tightened the battery terminals. There are no faults in the fuel system (111).

Hi,
I had one year ago 850 NA with 200k km problem which ended being worn out fuel pump relay not able to keep the contacts to deliver continuously power to the pump. costs 50€ 30min DIY, locates abowe the fuses under cover relay nbr 103.
