Help!! Can not remove AC clutch

I am in the process of reshimming the ac clutch all apart I have access to the center bolt but can not break it free due the clutch spinning. Any Ideas how to lock it up so I can loosen the center bolt? Thanks

Actually what is spining is the face plate and the commprssor armature. I have had success by screwing a bolt or two into the holes in the clutch plate (5mm x.080) and holding a screw driver or bar against it and the socket that you are using to remove the bolt. A belt or strap wrench on the pulley won't help at all unless you energise the clutch.

There's probably a special tool for it - but there's also a Sears belt wrench, which of course at Harbor Freight is about one-third the price of real Sears belt wrench.
