blower motor V70-XC70 2001

Wifes blower motor quit, all other lights on climate control light, positions on rotary knob activate heat to cool position, defrost ,high-low, etc. Replaced blower motor, no change. Today replaced climate control section, again no change, A/c compressor engages, just no blower. Anyone have any ideas? Is there a interlock or sensor associated with the cabin air filter that could affect the cllimate control?

Do you have a voltmeter you can use to verify the motor is getting power? If you have automatic climate control there is a "power module" which regulates the current to the motor - or a resistor pack in case of manual climate control. Current needs to flow through these to get to the fan motor. I don't think these or the motors fail often but a loose or corroded connection any where in the pathway will stop your motor. My car is much older (1995) and has had the fan quit a couple of times due to corroded connector contacts.
