1997 Volvo 850 Turbo AWD, headlight wipers and windsheild washer not working 850

I am thinking about buying a 1997 Volvo 850 AWD Turbo Wagon, 130,000 kms on it.
It has two problems that I am wondering if it is a big deal. The headlight wipers and the windsheild washer does not work, but the windsheild wipers do.
The rear washer/wiper works fine. Anybody have any ideas on this?

Also, the little Greek god light is on all the time and the turbo charger does not seem to be kicking in like my 1994 850 Turbo. Is that because of a different boost? and there is something else wrong causing the light to be on.

Thanks

Mike

1997 Volvo 850 Turbo AWD, headlight wipers and windsheild washer not working 850

I forgot if the 1997 awd came with the high pressure turbo. I don't believe it did, and if that is so, then 200bhp with awd will make it feel a lot sluggish. Even my V70R with more bhp than my 854T is slower. I figure it costs about 30bhp to run the awd.
The headlight wipers only work if the headlight switch is in the on position, driving lights don't count. The washer either has a bad motor (you won't hear anything) or the "T" connectors are plugged. Replace the sprayer nozzels with some from the newer S70s - better spray pattern.
As for Lambda being on, the code must be checked before you buy the car. Figure about $300 for a dealer to turn off the light and replace the offending part. Unless it is the air pump...
