hello all,
I was driving home today and some guy cut me off, so I punched it and went around him within 1 min. my coolant light came on and i smelt antifreeze.. when i got home i went looking and saw coolant spraying out on the right side of the engine. I moved the air filter box over and removed the vaccum tower cover. seemed to be comming from the metal tubing.. i cant find any diagrams of coolant hoses or lines

You say it is on the right side by the airfilter box? Do you mean on the driver's side, which would be the left side of the engine? There are a couple of different metal pipes down there but I have never had any corrode through, might be a hose that gave it up.

`sorry.. drivers side ,checked main coolant hose on that side and it appears to be ok..a little worn but no severe chaffing or holes. I noticed the 1/4 "blue ringed middle hose on the clust of three hoses thats is attached to the air filter box was broke in half. I'm not sure where the other end goes.. i'm stumped.. and driving my wifes brick to work.. :(
