Is changing out nivomat shocks with regular shocks a reasonable proposition? How easy is it to replace the springs? Will the drivablility be effected negatively? Is this a reasonable procedure or am I looking at creating a Frankenstein modification?
I would appreciate any thoughts on this subject.

    Lots of owners have done this because of the cost of the nivomats. All you will lose is the self leveling. Call IPD and they can help you with a parts list and costs. The springs will need to be changed and new ones need to be factored by what you carry in the back.
