i just bought an extra fob from ebay. My question is, when I program that fob, do i have to reprogram the one I am presently using. also, for my 1995 850 glt, is the sequence to reprogram off and on 5 times then hit any key on the fob?

    One thing I had to do in addition to the great advice from the forum is make sure the drivers side window was partially down before the car took the frequncy from the fob.

    You are not probramming the FOB, you are programing the CAR control module to accept the frequency of the new FOB along with the current one. No need to do anything with the other ones that you had. (at least for pre 98, I think)

    You are correct, all fobs need to be programmed at the same time. On/off 4 times, leave on the fifth and hit the button.
