Heater hose removal on S70 S70 1998

Hello:

I am trying to remove the heater hoses from the firewall, but am not sure how to take it out! Do yoy just pull hard, or is there any trick or a special tool needed? I have removed the two torx screws next to the heater hoses, but it is of no help.

I am in the process of replacing the evaporator on my car!

    Leave the screws in. Do as the other post says, squeeze the clips. You will have to pull hard and steady, with a little wiggling.

    There are two yellow in color, I think, that you squeeze inboard toward the center where the metal is inserted into the plastic. Once squeezed in you then pull it out. May be tight, but the plastic clips release the hose from the plastic piece in the firewall.
