Brake lights stuck on 1999 c70

This last weekend I was out driving and at some point my break lights refused to go off. What do I need to do?

If the center brake light is not on, turn off the fog lights?
You will need to take off the kick board under the steering wheel and inspect the switch for the brake light. It may be stuck. Most unusual.

Even when I stop the car and take the keys out the break lights stay on.
Any help on how to change the switch would be much appreciated.
