Trafficator Problems S40-V40 1999

Trafficator will just stop working while driving. Hours later is will start working again. Drive about 10 minutes and then it stops working again. Sometimes it works and other times it doesnt.

Sounds like a relay is over heating. It will be under the dash.

Hi,

I think he means turn-signal.

On the early cars, there was a mechanical device that could be extended to indicate that the driver was going to make a turn. It was called a trafficator and the word was probably a combination of "traffic" and "indicator".

Crankshaft anyone?
