faded black body trim V70-XC70

Any idea how to darken the eternally faded body trim on a 2001 V70? I have tried armour all and it works for a day or two at most.

Any dressing you use is only a temporary fix. Try masking off the area and spraying SEM Trim paint Black. Make sure you remove all of the silicone from previous applications of dressing before shooting with a paint prep product. Ive also used the Duplicolor paints with success, you can find these paints easier from Kragen or Autozone.

Made in Japan, wow, Im going to try that trick you told us! Ive never thought of using leather dye. Thanks for the tip.

Mothers Back to Black is pretty good. Lasts a couple weeks or so, depending on how faded or worn the bumper in question is. Have Fun.

    I swear...this works:
Tape off the area around the moulding and use Kiwi liquid leather dye...not shoe polish. Comes in a little bottle with applicator. Don't use the applicator...use a rag. You may have to give it a second coat. Ours has been on for over a year and doesn't wash off. Looks spectacular!

Try 303 Aerospace protectant. Available at some NAPAs and Camping World.
