1994 Volvo 850 Stalling!!!! Please help! 850

I'm so glad that other people have the same problem with this model. I'll drive for about 10 minutes around town, I'll lightly step on the break and I feel a rumble in the engine, my dashboard lights up and the car dies. I wait about 30 seconds start it up and proceed on my way. I've had it checked out numerous times, they tell me that there are issues with certain censors! What kind of issues am i presented with? Costly? Is it possible for me to work on it myself? Thank you for your time and i am sincerely appreciative!

Does it start to happen when you take you foot off the gas and coast or just when you push down on the brake peddle? If it's brake actuated you may have a leaking brake booster. The ignition switches seem to be prone to problems especially if you have alot of excess weight swinging around on you key chain. If so try it with just the ignition key.

Have any codes? How about torque converter locking up and not releasing?

Could be fuel pressure regulator. Very common.

I can think of several reasons for this happening (take your pick as to where you should start diagnosing your issues):
1. Bad gas
2. Bad battery
3. Bad ignition wires or spark plugs.

You should read your codes to see if any got stored even if your CEL isn't on.
Others will give their opinions.
