Volvo service in Faibanks Alaska ?

Are there any garages/repair stations/good independent shops that service the newer Volvos in Fairbanks Alaska ? I have a son stationed in Faibanks and he is thinking about buying a used S60 (2002).

You will need local word of mouth up there. There are a few 240s around and changing the oil to 0W15 in the winter will help.
I agree, MIJ needs a geography lesson :)

Haven't heard of anything in Fairbanks, but if you can get to Anchorage, AJ Criswell over at Accurate is well known as an exceptional mechanic who is fair and does an outstanding jobs on our cars (read this on Volvospeed forum).

Thanks, I guess I'll have to warn him that i'll be a 262 mile tow if a dealer service only breakdown occurs.
