turbo leak 850

I have an oil leak that I think I have located. There is oil sprayed on the underside of the car back from the engine. It has been there for some time as there seems to be multiple layers of it. After spending much time crawling around under the car I have seen that there seems to be oil coming from the turbo. I believe it is leaking from the side opposite of the exhaust manifold side. It is NOT coming from the return line listed at Bay 13 and there is NO oil leaking down the back side of my engine from the oil line as shown in the pictures on Bay 13. Does anybody know if there is another place turbo's leak oil? Is it another line that can be fixed or does this need a rebuild? Can you reccommend a rebuild kit?

Probably from the PCV hose that connects up to the top of the air intake line...this returns exhaust gases back into the turbo to be re-burned. If youre PCV nipple that it enters is clogged, then it can spill out and on top of the end of the turbo making it appear as if there is a leak there. Take a look with a flashlight down from the airbox to the turbo- to the end of the accordian intake hose. Is it wet down there?

Yes! My goodness you are smart. You and Klaus have got to be the two smartest guys on here. I'm glad I'm not paying you guys for advice 'cause I'd go broke just paying half of what the two of you are worth!

Not only is it wet but there is a layer of crud (dirt with oil) which leads me to believe that this has been a problem for some time. I take it the large hose (apx 3/4" dia) that goes accross the back of the engine (driver's side) also goes laterally through the intake manifold and into the oil trap and is #7 on the fcpgroton.com page (http://www.fcpgroton.com/volvo850oiltrapturbo.htm) of 850 turbo PCV systems?

Doing the PCV system was on my list of things to do. Guess I'll have to do it sooner rather than later. I had plans to remove the intake manifold and PCV system and clean it instead of replacing all the hoses on fcpgroton but I read in another post that the oil trap has a complicated internal baffle system. Is this true?

Can I replace just the oil trap and clean the rest of the hoses or should I break down and replace the whole thing?

O.k. last ? Regarding the lower "O-ring" seals for the injectors. I've talked with some guys and they say they usually re-use the seals when they reinstall the injectors. What do you think? Can they be reused or should I replace them as well?
