I see the evaporator listed at places like drivewire.com with a brand manufacturer of "ACM" for about $240. I also see "CRP Continental" for $112 at autohausaz.com. Does anybody know if it matters? Dealer is $371.

Some people have made posts that the cheaper evap tubes don't seem to line up properly and may need alot of bending to make them fit right. If you don't want to go through this maybe it's better to spend a few more $$'s? Mine was around $200 from NAPA and the fit was very good.

I got one for about $200 which was made or distributed by AC-Delco (along with an accumulator for about $60). I found on the web the required part numbers and a local distributor who had the items for pickup within a day or so. The distributor was willing to accept a return in case the parts did not fit. They were as it turned out indistinguishable from the original parts that were present. My decision was based on not paying the dealer price but still going with a company I had at least heard of. It's only been 1 year but the system still works fine.

www.fcpgroton.com lists their Evaporator as "aftermarket" (who knows who makes it?) with price of only $139.
