'93 850 turn signal flasher unit

I can Not for the life of me find the failed flasher module. I have the new one and my wife is getting tired of rolling down the window and using bicycle hand signs. Called the Lawrence Volvo in Walnut Creek and the service guy said he would not tell me. (is this the standard for service departments?)
thanks

93s are strange Volvos... Your dealer sucks, to put it mildly. Probably if you called the parts department, you could get better results - fewer politics there.
The flasher relay should be behind the hazard light switch. Pull the switch out of the dash. There are 4 different relays for the 1993!, depending on the serial number.

For the life of me, I can't find a relay for this...only a fuse in your '93 model (maybe '94's had them?). I suppose you're talking about a relay. Could it be that they (being jerks, I agree) refused to tell you the location because your car doesn't take one? I'll keep looking and repost if I find something new.
Btw, the fuse is #27 in the long rectangular fuse box under the hood...rated 15Amps.
