Oil Cooler leak V70-XC70 1998

Gentlemen ! ! !

I have just noticed oil on the driveway,,, it appears to come from the oil
cooler area.. It is a v70 Automatic GLT 1998. Does it mean that the radiator
has to be replaced.... or can one just get the oil cooler part of the radiator,
Is it repairable or am I looking for the complete radiator replacement package.

The lower hose connection looks clean and oil free.

I had removed the cover underneath.. Therewas oils in it. (Air Deflector.)

Many THANKS in Advance. I truely appreciate the past help
and advice..

Thanks again
Greg

The upper line to the radiator could have a bad O ring, or the fitting in the line has deteriorated. Most likely, a dealer will charge you to replace the entire line for around $200. I would pull off the line and replace the O ring first.

The oil cooler portion is inside of the radiator which is actually in 3 parts internally...for oil, ATF, and coolant. I've seen some very inexpensive replacement radiators on eBay. I don't know if they are up to snuff or not, but might be worth it. Yes, you'll need a new "turbo" radiator unless the leak is just from the line. Check where it fits on the radiator to be sure.
