850 Camshaft seals

1994 855 N/A

Could someone please post the procedure
for replacing the rear camshaft seals
(both intake and exhaust) on a 1994
850?
It would be a big help.
Thanks in advance.

The Haynes manual has a good write up on this. Have you checked the PCV system to make sure that manifold pressures aren't too high, causing the leaks?

Yes, I recently overhauled the PCV system
      several thousand miles ago. This
included removal of the IM and replacing
the oil separator and related hoses. I checked
the flame trap after this seal failed. (the
exhaust cam already had a slow leak)

It looks like I will have to order a Haynes
manual - can't find one in stock around
here (not a lot of 850's where I live)
