Help! Is it the brake line junction or ABS module? 850 1994

I recently purchased a 94 850 Turbo. The guy misled me about its condition; this car is leaking break fluid like a sieve. Here's the problem:
I got it checked out at a shop, they told me I needed to replace the brake line junction at a cost of $500. I got a second opinion at a reputable garage that said I need to replace the ABS module at $1200. And he informed me the brake line junction is at the other end of the car.
I don't have much money left to repair it (and its other problems). Is there a way I can find out for myself which is the problem part? The ABS light is not on (maybe just because its a leak??) Is it true that the brake line junction is far from the ABS module? I'm putting in a bottle of brake fluid every couple days (I hardly drive it) and that alone is getting spendy. Thanks for any info

The ABS modules seldom fail in the 1994. I could well be the junction. With that much fluid loss, you should know where it is dripping. Just sit in your parking space, push hard on the brakes several times and start looking for drips.

There are a couple of junctions in that system, one back at the rear suspension and one under the ABS control unit. The block retails for about $250.00, throw in a couple of hours to diagnose, replace, and bleed the system out and you will be in the $400.00+ ballpark all day long. $500.00 seems a little steep but in could be right in line depending upon the individual shop's labor rate. If you have the correct tools it is doable for a DIY guy but being as it is a turbo car it will be a bit more of a challenge.
