850R door lock 850 1996

I have a '96 850R wagon and have been having problem with the remote door lock. When I press the "unlock" button 2nd time, the driver's side door lock up again instead of unlocking the rest of the doors. Re-setting the power door lock doesn't seem to work. Any idea why it's doing that? Or does this mean I have to buy a new remote? Thanks.

    CH:

    More of a question than an answer....the car does have a remote locking central relay. I look on ebay under "VOLVO RELAY" and I saw one. Wonder if anyone has ever had to replace this relay. Never had a problem with my 94' locking system, but am thinking of replacing all the relays just to be safe.

      Did the system work with the double unlock before?

      do you have more than one remote? If so is it doing this on all of them?

        Sorry. Been having problem getting into Brickboard website. The system doesn't require a double lock before. It just happened in the past few months or so. I do have a spare and haven't tried that one yet. Tried re-setting the key, but no luck.
