850 heater core to firewall pipes - O-Rings & Nylon Washers (how many & where) 850 1995

Short story: On the 2 (connected) pipes that connect the heater core to the firwall pipe stubs, at the firewall end, how many O-Rings and Orange Nylon Washers are needed - and in what order should they be put in/on.

Long story: I'm replacing the heater core in my girlfriends 95 850 turbo and removed the 2 short pipes that connect the heater core to the firewall (don't ask why). When I removed them, one of the nylon washers that separate the O-rings disintegrated - and I don't know which one it came from. Now, I don't know how many O-rings and orange nylon washers go on each pipe. The pipe-ends slide inside of another piece and a nylon clip on each pipe snaps them in place. One pipe sticks out from the flange that retains the clip further than the other - one is about 7/8" and the other is about 5/8".
